Alchemist — hero grid for mains

Every Dota client, Russian included, shows the name Alchemist. In chat Alchemist also goes by “alch”. On Russian servers you will hear “Алхимик” (or “алх” and “алхим”).

Valve's one-line description from the hero list: “Earns extra gold from unit kills and bounty runes”.

In the editor's hero picker, typing “Alchemist” or “Алхимик” or “alch” brings up Alchemist.

Alchemist is a Strength hero (36 of them in the game), melee, complexity 1 of 3 by Valve's rating, one of the 55 easiest heroes.

By attributes puts Alchemist in the “STRENGTH” (18th of 36) block; By complexity — in the “EASY” (2nd of 55) band. Beginner: easy heroes leaves Alchemist out: it keeps easy heroes only on their main position and only the ones that do best at low ranks.

The rows of Classic: positions 1–5 hold the 18 most played heroes each and Alchemist is not among them; there are two free slots per row, so drop the hero into “1 · CARRY” yourself.
