Magnus — hero grid for mains

Magnus is what the game calls the hero in every client; Russian-speaking players say “Магнус” (or “магнатаур”). In chat Magnus also goes by “mag”. Internally, in the game files, Magnus is “magnataur” — search on the site finds the hero by it as well.

Valve sums the hero up in one line: “Charges in to reposition his enemies”.

Search in the hero picker is forgiving: “Magnus”, “Магнус”, “mag”, “magnataur” — each of them lands on Magnus.

Rank barely changes the picture: 48.0% at Herald–Crusader and 49.9% at Ancient–Divine. Magnus's share of games is 27% above its average at Ancient and 56% below at Herald.
